The Porsche Carrera Cup GB resumes at Snetterton this weekend after taking a seven week summer break, and Aberdeen race ace Glynn Geddie is hoping for a change of fortunes to get his season back on track.
19 year-old Geddie currently lies 4th in the Pro-Am 1 category after making a blistering start to the season, but has had a run of bad luck, coming away with disappointing results from the last two meetings at Oulton Park and Croft. However the Apex Tubulars-backed charger is going all-out for glory this weekend after notching up a dominant win in the Martini Trophy at the Norfolk-based Snetterton circuit two weekends ago.
"We need to come away from Snetterton this weekend with as many points under our belt as possible", said Geddie. "We are just starting the second half of the season now and being fourth in Pro-Am 1 isn't ideal, but salvagable, and I'm still very confident the team and I can turn this around. We know what we've got to do and it's not over until it's over."
ITV4 will be airing its usual live television broadcast of the MSA British Touring Car Championship and support races on Sunday morning at 11.00, running through until 18.00. Race 1 for Geddie and the Porsche Carrera Cup GB field is scheduled to be the first race of the day, taking place at 9.10 with Race 2 at 15.05.
