Aberdeen racing driver Glynn Geddie made a special return visit to his former secondary school last week.
The 20 year-old, who competed in both the Porsche Carrera Cup GB and British GT Championship in 2010, dropped into Bucksburn Academy to meet a third year class.
Glynn attended Bankhead Academy which closed its doors earlier this year and was replaced by the new state of the art Bucksburn Academy.
The BRDC Rising Star answered a series of questions from the pupils as he passed on the benefit of his track experience and showed his commitment to the community he grew up in.
"It was great to meet a class so interested in motorsport and I thoroughly enjoyed my return visit to Bucksburn Academy," said Glynn.
"It's good to be able to give something back to the community. I hope the pupils will take on board some of the things I tried to teach them and, above all, realise the importance of making the most of their education."
