United Autosports make their way to the world famous Spa Francorchamps circuit in Belgium this weekend (28th/29th September) for the penultimate round of the European Supercar Challenge.
The team are looking to continue their good form at the Ardennes forest circuit, following on from two dominant wins, a pole and a fastest lap at the last Cartier Tank Replica round in Zandvoort. The team left Holland after regaining their championship lead, with a 15 point advantage over the rest of the field.
The last time the team were at the Formula One track in June, they finished both races on the podium, showing just how competitive they have been over the whole season.
They are now hoping to add to the championship advantage they currently have at the final two rounds at Spa and Assen.
Richard Dean, Team Owner and Managing Director, United Autosports:
“We are really excited to be heading back to Spa for the next round of the Supercar Challenge. Going there fresh from two wins at Zandvoort will be a great feeling, and hopefully we can add to the current championship lead we have. We were successful at Spa last time round but hopefully we can go one better this time and end up on the top step like at Zandvoort.”
