Geddie Sets Sights on Monaco Mission

Aberdeen's Glynn Geddie returns to Monaco this weekend to compete in the prestigious Porsche Supercup determined to prove he's matured on the track.
The 21-year-old will take part in four rounds of the event that supports the Formula One tour this season starting in the Principality before the others at Spa, Silverstone and another venue which is yet to be confirmed.
The Redline racer will be going back to the future when he mixes it with the best in the business having competed in the Supercup in Monaco when he was just 18.
The reigning British GT champion, now back on the Porsche Carrera Cup circuit, eventually took the car home in 15th position when he was just a raw teen.
He'll be running with Redline Racing in the highly anticipated race in the same car he competes in whilst going for Carrera Cup glory.
And he can't wait for his latest Monaco mission.
"There's no doubt the Supercup is a real step up in class and it will be tough coming up against the various top factory drivers," he said.
"But I have developed a lot since my last outing at Monaco and feel far more prepared for it second time round.
"I was extremely fortunate enough to take part in the event back in 2009 and intend to make the most of my second chance out there.
"The track is really tight and compact so it's vital I'm on top of everything quickly, find my lines as soon as possible and really make a go of it.
"It's quite something to be able to get out on to a track before the actual Formula One race and while I'll be doing all I can to soak up the atmosphere I'm there to make my mark."
