The 2011 British GT Champions Jim and Glynn Geddie have joined forces with British based United Autosports to take on the eight round Dutch Supercar Challenge. The father and son team from Aberdeen, Scotland are no strangers to the Dutch series having competed in two rounds of the 2012 season.
Competing in the full season, Glynn Geddie will use the Dutch series as a way to show case his ability as he pushes for a full time professional drive in GT3. “I had hoped to secure a full season in the Blancpain Series or British GT Championship this year but we started too late having committed all my time last year to a new business start-up. Now that is all up and running, I want to return to full time racing and win a credible Championship again to prove myself against the best. I am still only 22 so have time on my side; this series will keep me sharp”.
The series opener takes place at Zolder, Belgium on April 21st finishing on October 20th in Assen, Holland. United Autosports will dovetail its British GT campaign with its debut season in the Dutch series, utilising its McLaren experience gained in 2012 where the team won three out of the last four rounds of the Championship.

Zak Brown, Team Owner, United Autosports:
“We have invested heavily in our new race shop over the winter. Moving into a facility like this has allowed us to expand our motorsport activities and manage and operate in multiple race series. We are very proud to be associated with the popular and expanding Dutch series and delighted to have been chosen by to manage this programme”.
Richard Dean, Managing Director, United Autosports:
“We are very excited to have put together a serious Dutch Supercar Challenge team for 2013. We have raced against the Geddie’s over the last two seasons and they are formidable opponents, it will be a relief to be working with them rather than against them for a change. We have a lot of experience with the McLaren MP4-12C and I expect we will be very competitive”.
“We are really pleased to be teaming up with United Autosports for the Dutch Supercar Challenge. I’ve known the team for many years and hopefully we can get some good results this year.”
