Team Parker Racing's Glynn Geddie will be aiming to give his season a kick-start at Rockingham, Northamptonshire this weekend after a frustrating Porsche Carrera Cup GB season-opener at Thruxton just over two weeks ago.
Although having collected a total of 21 points last time out, the Apex Tubulars-backed nineteen year-old was disappointed not to have finished higher up the field. Having been hampered by technical issues in both races, the Aberdonian minimalised the damage to his campaign and crossed the line in 7th and 5th respectively.
Looking ahead to this weekend's meeting, Geddie is clearly looking to make an impact and has high hopes for the two races that lie ahead.
"We want to come away with two podiums this weekend", says the BRDC Rising Star. "Rockingham isn't exactly one of my favourite tracks and we had our problems there last year but we need to bounce back from Thruxton, which wasn't a disaster, but could have been better.
"The guys have been working very hard at the workshop for the past two weeks so we shouldn't have a repeat of the mechanical problems which probably cost us at least one podium at Thruxton. I guess we'll have to wait and see but I would say we're on for a strong showing."
