Reigate race driver Nick Padmore will be in Portugal this weekend for the final race of the European V de V Championship at Estoril.
The Race Team Solutions ace will head their campaign in the Silverfleet Capital-backed Norma with regular team mate Jean-Lou Rhion and is determined to end the season on a high.
"I'm feeling very confident for Estoril," commented Padmore. We are coming from a strong result at Magny-Cours where we finished 8th after the 8 hour race. The race will be very different as we will be mixed in with GT and touring cars, so lapping traffic will be crucial to the end result of the race."
The Circuito do Estoril is no stranger to Nick after he and Jean-Lou competed there to round off their season last year. The pair were running in a competitive 6th place and moving up the field until the circuit ran out of fuel, bringing a premature end to the race.
Thursday will see Nick will fly out to Portugal before the meeting kicks off with testing on Friday, qualifying on Saturday, and the grueling 6 hour race on Sunday morning.
