Scottish racing driver Glynn Geddie will take his place on the Avon Tyres British GT Championship grid as he prepares to compete in his second meeting of the championship at Rockingham this weekend. The 20 year-old will be back behind the wheel of the number 7 Trackspeed Porsche 911 GT3-R with team manager and driver David Ashburn.
Having displayed front-running performance in Rounds 3 and 4 at Knockhill back in May, Apex Tubulars-backed Geddie will be hoping for a return to the podium and to assist team mate Ashburn in his bid to knock the MTECH Ferrari pairing of Duncan Cameron and Matt Griffin off the top of the championship standings.
"The Porsche should be quite at home at Rockingham and I think we're in good shape to be in a strong position to run at the front this weekend. We had great pace at Knockhill and the team have made a lot of progress with the car since the last race at Spa.
"There's a good vibe in the team and we are all aware of how, and how well, we work together. We know what we have to do and I can't see any reason why we shouldn't have every confidence going into this weekend."
