Geddie & Brown Hoping to End FIA GT3 European Season on a High

11 October, 2011

Newly-crowned British GT Champion, Glynn Geddie, will fly to The Netherlands today as he prepares for the final meeting of the FIA GT3 European season which takes place at Zandvoort this weekend.

The BRDC Rising Star from Aberdeen who, along with his father Jim, wrapped up the British GT Championship at Silverstone last weekend, has demonstrated that he and AF Corse co-driver Dan Brown have the pace to be competitive this season, but the pair have been unable to translate their potential into results, having been hit with a string of bad luck and technical issues.

Glynn Geddie:
"After such a run of bad luck and disappointment in our FIA GT3 European season it would be good if we can just finish the season with a decent result. I've never raced at Zandvoort so we need to make the most of the time in free practice to get to grips with the circuit and put ourselves in a good position for qualifying.

"It will be difficult but we've been working hard to improve our performance since Slovakia Ring so our main focus is to be competitive and put in a strong performance."
