Friday's Gulf 12 Hours at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi provided a tough test for the United Autosports team but despite the dramas they made it to the chequered flag and leave the UAE assured that success is just around the corner. Here's what Matt had to say about it:
"Things didn't quite go our way today. We got some damage to the gearbox early in the race, which failed after four hours, and some other smaller problems affected us later in the race. It was a shame as we were very competitive especially as the race went on. There are lots of positives to take from this race, the car delivered better than ever before over a qualifying lap and during the race, which bodes well for 2013. It was good to meet and drive with Will (Bratt), and Mark (Patterson) did a great job too, so I'm really looking forward to next season!"
