Glynn Geddie heads to Silverstone this weekend for his latest Porsche Supercup adventure determined to rise to the roar of his Scottish support.
A group of family and friends will make the 481 mile journey south from Aberdeen to watch the reigning 2011 British GT champion in action.
Silverstone is the second of four races of the event that Geddie will compete in where he'll again be playing a supporting role to the Formula One tour this season.
The 22-year-old was in action in Monaco at the end of May and will also turn out at Spa and another venue which has yet to be confirmed as he completes his Supercup experience.
Geddie will again be running with Redline Racing in the same car he competes in whilst in action during his Carrera Cup campaign.
"It is always nice to know you have a few people in the stands cheering you on," said Geddie.
"A number of my friends are coming down and I'm grateful for their support and I'll be going all out to give them something to shout about.
"This is the closest race for them to come and watch in this series whilst they'll also be able to take in the Formula One event at the same time.
"There's no doubt it will be a step up in class from regular Carrera Cup action but it's up to me to raise the standard of my performance to shine on the circuit."
