Logan Sargeant had a clean sweep of race wins in the latest round of the WSK Master Series in La Conca, Italy at the weekend.
Logan was returning to the Southern Italy circuit for the first time since winning the World Junior Karting Championship at the same track in 2015. This time though Logan was up against the top drivers on the world karting stage in the adult category of the WSK event.
Logan managed to grab pole position in qualifying and from then onwards there was no looking back for the young American. The 15 year old went on to take three heat wins to ensure he would start the Pre Final in pole position.
After leading from lights to flag in the pre final the main final proved to be harder for Sargeant who battled for the lead with British driver and former World Karting Champion Tom Joyner in the early stages of the race. Sargeant was able to grab the lead back off Joyner and pull a gap of just over 3 seconds by the end of the race to take the win.
The win leaves Logan in 2nd position in the WSK series and just 6 points behind the current leader with one round remaining. The final round of the series will be in May at the Adria Circuit in Italy.
